This morning was one of those beautiful mornings that finally had a bit of a chill to it- a sign that fall really was coming after all. The recent rains meant we also had just the right conditions for fog. I LOVE the fog. Driving in it may not be too fun, but I love to feel the moisture on my face. I love that it obscures part of the landscape, giving it a mystical feel.
Every time I experience fog, I also want to capture it on paper. I've never stopped to do so. What good is teaching art if you can't stop and paint the fog?
So, today ended up being one of those throw-the-lesson-plans-out-and-paint-the-fog kind of a day. Here are our beautiful results:
